Well done to all the runners who attended our Fun Day on 15th July in Kidlington. The conditions were very challenging, with high temperatures and no shade, so congratulations to all the runners in both the 5km and 1km races.
Below are the results of the 5km event and well done to Ed White for completing the course in under 20 minutes in such blistering heat!
Daybreak is grateful to everyone who took part in the runs, and to all the families and friends who came along. Thank you also to the staff from Kidlington & Gosford Leisure Centre for all their invaluable help, and to the many volunteers who made this event possible, to the Kidlington WI for providing such a fantastic selection of cakes and to Truly Scruptious for their help with the BBQ, which they kindly arranged very much at the last minute. We would also like to give our thanks to Cllr Maurice Billington for attending the event and handing out the medals and trophies to the runners
Thank you all for your support for Daybreak, helping us to continue to provide our vital care to people in Oxfordshire with dementia, and their families.
